We are a competition BBQ team from Middletown, Delaware, formed in 2006 after smoking and barbecuing in the backyard for years. The team consists of Head Cook Ron Templeman, Ron Templeman Jr.(Ron's son), Mike Sadgwar (Ron's son-in-law), Brian Milito (Ron's nephew), and Rob Simon (family friend). In 2009, we added a 6th member, Stephanie Sadgwar (Mike's lil sis). She took the position of CMO (Chief Medical Oinker).

Head Cook

Ron is a retired police diver from the Philadelphia police force.  Ron started Pigheaded BBQ in 2006 after many years of backyard cooking.

Ron Templeman v 2.0

CTO- Chief Tong Oinker

Son of head cook, Ron Templeman, v2.0 was on-board when Pigheaded BBQ was formed.  Handling meat is Ron v2.0’s speciality.

Mike Sadgwar

CFO- Chief Fire Oinker

Mike is Ron’s son-in-law.  Mike was also on-board when Pigheaded BBQ was formed.  Mike knows how to make fire....which is very critical.

Brian Milito

CIO- Chief Information Oinker

Brian is Ron’s nephew.  When Ron brought up the idea of starting a BBQ team, Brian was also on-board.  Brian is responsible for turn-in boxes and garnish.  He is also the webmaster for Pigheaded BBQ.

Stephanie Sadgwar

CMO- Chief Medical Oinker

Stephanie is Mike’s sister.  Stephanie was added to the team as a full-time member in 2009. If you need medical attention.....Steph will cure all of your ailments.

Rob Simon

CDO- Chief Delivery Oinker

Rob is a friend of Brian’s.  Rob was an original member of Pigheaded BBQ, who went to part-time member in 2009.  When Rob can attend competitions, he takes the role of running the turn-in boxes to the judges.

Norma Templeman

CFO- Chief Financial Oinker

Norma is Ron’s right hand woman (and wife).  She handles all of the finances for Pigheaded BBQ.  She normally makes this face when she sees the receipts.

Trina Sadgwar

CPPO- Chief Pork Pulling Oinker

Trina is Ron’s daughter and Mike’s wife.  Along with Stephanie, she handles pork pulling duties when Ron v2.0 cannot make it to contests.
